Our staff include colour technicians, stylists, and managers with qualifications in master colour degrees who regularly train throughout Europe and Ireland.

We know that salons can be intimidating places, but our friendly teams are enthusiastic, intuitive, motivated, and dedicated to giving you a personal service in an atmosphere that makes you want to return again and again.

My hairdressing career commenced in 2000. My journey as a professional hairdresser has been a roller coaster of emotions of love and hate with the job, but I’ve pushed my limitations and my continuous stride for perfection on all aspects of hairdressing. My motto is if a job has to be done, it has to be done right…….RIGHT?

I am a single mother; all of my hard work and determination have been for my family. It wasn’t easy, and it’s still a struggle, but, you know what, if you don’t try, you will never know.

I am a very enthusiastic hairdresser. I want to learn everything new and put my own spin onto it. I like to think I’m positive and attract the same.

I started up LINDA MURPHY HAIR in 2020 (yes, I am that crazy girl who started a business in Covid). Before this, I was doing mobile hairdressing, calling around house to house. I never wanted a salon – from managing salons over the years; it’s tough work, and I always said it wasn’t for me, but what’s for you won’t pass you.

My main concern was to protect my clients and myself from Covid. I came into Unit 1, Woodbine Business Park, New Ross, and thought – okay, I’ll give it 6 months and see how I get on. Thankfully, the salon went from strength to strength (with a load of hiccups along the way), but I’m a firm believer that what won’t kill you will only make you stronger.

Owning a business is a LOT different from managing salons A LOT.. I’ve done courses after courses, and I’m still doing courses – I believe I’ll be doing courses until there are no more courses I can do, but I try my best to be the best possible, to have a salon that is run smoothly, and a positive place to work, a friendly and calming atmosphere – I want my clients to come into my salon and feel like it is their own sitting room. Kick back and relax. Leave the professionals to do the work.

I have a teaching degree that I decided to do in 2018, and it’s a passion of mine to teach hairdressing. Seeing the upcoming hairdressers finding their niche is very rewarding. I’m still teaching for different companies. It’s my time to give back.
